TACTILE NON-HUMAN EXPERIENCE (2017)
The performance is devised around the research of the three N.I.C.E. members, their creative ideas, unfinished projects, visions, sketches, sculptures, texts. The final idea emerged around the possibility of attending trees, being with them, communicating, assisting, being assisted.
It is a poetic piece; an immersive theatrical experience where words, actions and sounds come together through the imagination of the spectator, who according to her/his desires and expectations constructs a possible, but always unstable narrative.
The text I wrote and performed was written by attending for one hour, on a weekly basis for three months the Plane tree in Brunswick Park in London.
